Why we exist

Sparkle without the worry

I've always loved wearing accessories, wherever and whenever. But wearing real gold gave me anxiety: the price tag, and the fear of losing something precious in the sea, on a trail or at the airport.

For three years I dreamed of a better way. Sparkling Mermaid is that way: beautiful, high-quality pieces in waterproof, non-tarnish stainless steel, priced so you can wear them everywhere and never think twice.

I want everyone to look and feel fabulous, without worrying about what it costs or what happens if it gets lost.

A note from the founder

Hi, I'm Kaye

I'm a freediver and an adventurer at heart. I was meant to finish my freediving instructor course, but life pulled me in a different direction. My love for the water never left. Neither did my love for looking put-together, even with salt in my hair.

Before this, I spent years as a teacher in the Philippines and Thailand, and I'm also a group fitness and yoga instructor. I've always been happiest helping people feel strong and confident. Sparkling Mermaid is another way to do that.

Today I'm based in Panglao, Bohol, surrounded by the sea that inspires every piece. Thank you for being part of this little dream. I hope each piece makes you feel as fabulous as you are.
